Illustration for Jared Diamondd’s Los Angeles Natural Histoy Museum show

These illustrations were drawn for an exposition called “Collapse”, based on the homonymous Pulitzer-winning book written by Jared Diamond. I worked with Studio Confino, and Francois Confino stays one of my favourite clients ever.

The installation was about the various factors that brought the great civilizations of the past to their end, and it explains that the same problems (environmental damage, climate change, war, etc.) are bringing the world as we know it to collapse.

The huge panels (5 meters long) were printed and cut-out on different metallic layers, giving three-dimensional perspective. I also designed some other huge posters that were printed on a single layer for another part of the exhibition.
